Day 2: Second travel day - Still going to Vancouver...

Second try from Paris

After around 4 hours of sleep, it’s time to get up again. The good thing is that the missing sleep should help to sleep during the flight (stay positive) :)

So we are heading back to the airport from the CitizenM Hotel, which is a really short walk. Then it’s Train, Passport check and Train again. And finally, waiting at the airport (again).

Boarding should be at 09:20, which is in roughly 15 minutes, let’s hope that this time, it works out and we are sleeping in Vancouver this evening and not in another European city.

Vancouver Airport

The flight itself goes by pretty quickly, I watch a total of 3 movies (Uncharted, Matrix Resurrections & Barry Seal) and sleep a bit in between.

Beside of that, we get some nice views from time to time.

Passport control in Vancouver goes then pretty easy and quick. But after a short wait at the baggage pickup, we realise that our luggage didn’t make it… But it should arrive tomorrow, let’s see how this works out :)

Then it’s time to pickup the rental car, which also goes smooth. The agent sounded a bit surprised that we take the car for nearly two months.

Vancouver

We do the short drive to the hotel in downtown Vancouver and then go for a short walk. Then it’s time for dinner and some real sleep.
