Day 39: Viva Las Vegas II

Las Vegas

In the morning we went for an indoor run, getting some movement in. Then we had to switch Hotels, after a night in Downtown Las Vegas, we stay now for 2 nights at the Strip in Hotel Aria.

On the way we did a stop at the Luxor Hotel, Walked around a bit and were amazed by the building itself. It’s a large Pyramid and looks crazy from the inside.

To have a change, we went for a full lunch today, burgers at Burger Bar, which is between Luxor and Mandalay Bay.

After the strengthening we visited the Titanic exhibition in the Luxor. It has a lot of original pieces and the most impressive was the Big Piece, it’s the biggest piece that was ever recovered from the Titanic.

Then we checked in at our new Hotel and were baffled by the Minibar Prices. I mean they are expensive in Switzerland as well, but I never saw 14.75$ for a coke… Probably because it’s “Deluxe”… Vegas :)

Even though it’s crazy hot outside (another 40++ day) we walked a bit on the strip, but mostly just between the hotels. So the time outside was kept on a minimum. The hotels here are really different, you have a mini Eiffel Tower, Rome, Venice and more.

Even though it doesn’t sound like much, time went by fast. We played some slot and won a little bit of money (which we will loose tomorrow ;-)). For Dinner we had Pizza at Moneyline.
