Day 40: Lazy Vegas Day

Just as I started this post and updated the day, I realized that we are approaching the middle of our Journey… 2 more days and we reach day 42 (at least the answer to everything) and then there are “only” 42 days left until we fly back home from Honolulu… But no reason to get sad, that’s still a lot of time to enjoy life!
Alright, back to business. For today we didn’t have a real plan, our approach was take it easy and make a lazy day out of it. First thing was to visit the New York New York Hotel and the Coca Cola and M&M’S Store.

Everything is large, shiny and a little bit too much here :) Good example was the M&M’S store, 4 stories full of merchandise and of course, a M&M’S wall.

After walking in the heat, interrupted by the freezing cold of the AC’s inside of the Hotels, we did the most reasonable thing. Going to the pool, cooling down in the water and get refreshed by a cold beer.

For Dinner we ate at the Din Tai Fung, directly at the Aria Hotel. They serve amazing dumping, favorite were the spicy Wonton.
For the evening we had tickets to the Cirque Du Soleil - O in Bellagio. Which was really cool to see, part of it consist of water performances, other on the platforms that were risen inside of the pool. So a pretty unique setup & performance.
