Week 2: National Parks

Week 2 review

Our second week continued in Wells Gray, where we started with riding a horse… crazy! Did a nice Trail to the top of the Helmcken Falls.

Then it was time to move to Jasper, where we camped for 4 nights on the Wabasso Campground. We were a bit unlucky with the weather, but the views of nature & wildlife was superb.

We did some nice hikes, e.g. the Sulphur Skyline and relaxed at the Miette Hot Springs.

Also some laundry was done and we made fire in the nice furnace at the common area of the Campground.

After the 4 nights it was time to move to Lake Louise, which first consisted of the drive on the Icefields Parkway.

In Lake Louise we then did our longest hike so far, from the Campground all the way to Lake Agnes.

Off to week 3!
