Day 8: To Guatapé

Another Bus

Today was the time to say goodbye to Medellín. First, we took a cab to the Bus Terminal. We had to find the next Bus to Guatapé, which always goes. So we didn’t have to wait long, and off we went.

The Bus ride was excellent as soon as we left the city behind. The last part of the travel took quite some time because heavy traffic was close to Guatapé.

On the way, we also saw the famous Piedra del Peñol, one of the world’s largest Monoliths. Depending on which list you look at, it usually ranges in the top 10 or close to it.
