Day 10: Guatapé

Guatapé

The first thing in the morning was a run. After a two-day break, I already got nervous without running. I found a promising-looking course on Garmin, which was excellent. It was on a paved street, but there was no traffic, and it led into rolling hills, so constantly up and down. I never ran that at home, so it was good training.

Then, we had another extensive breakfast at Montano. It was hard to get up and rolling again after all the food, but we managed to do it. We then did the same route I did in the morning as a hike but visited two monasteries on some small side streets.

Even though the hike itself was easy, the sun burned down brutally, and we all were exhausted in the end.

Our eating habits are a bit mixed up. After a large breakfast at around 11:00, we ate a very late lunch at 17:30. Then a quick break, and then dinner at 20:00. This was our last evening all together and for us in Colombia. Tomorrow, we start our 2-day journey to the Galapagos.
