Day 22: Galapagos - On the Cruise

The last full day of the Cruise is already here. Time went by so quickly. It was another full day of activities and adventures.

First in the morning was a walk along Puerto Egas, inhabited around 70 years ago but was given up because of the lack of fresh water. Some remains of this can still be seen.

Here, we saw different wildlife, mainly birds, some iguanas, and sea lions. After the walk, we had some snorkel time. There we saw more Sea Lions and a Ray (I wonder which one).

After that, there was our last briefing for tomorrow. Usually, this was in the evening, but as there was a good cocktail, we had the briefing before lunch. After lunch, we had time to relax before we could Kayak and Standup Paddle.

First, we did Standup Paddling, which was challenging on the sea. So it was more like sit-down paddling 😅 Then I did some Kayaking back to the boat.

After that, we snorkeled from the Dinghy, where we saw a shark and some sea lions. Then, there was also a Dinghy ride, which we skipped in favor of chilling on the sundeck. It was in the same area where we had already done the kayaking/paddling and the snorkeling, so there was not much new.

The Goodby Cocktail started with seeing the whole crew again, having a drink, and then a summary movie about the last four days, which was excellent!

Tomorrow is one activity in the morning, at 06:00. We have to get off the boat early because some people have to catch a 10:25 flight, which was offered as a bundle with the Cruise.

We will stay another two nights in Puerto Ayora before we fly back on Saturday.
