Base 20

Our spot for the night was right next to Base 20.

During World War II, Base 20 was the headquarters of the military and political leadership of the Slovenian National Liberation Movement and other partisan organizations. A total of 26 barracks were built. Today, it is the only preserved monument of this type of resistance movement in Europe.

We took our time and visited Base 20 and also did a hike close by, which was mostly on a forest road but through some large woods.

Drive to Croatia

After the hike we did a short lunch break at the spot where we slept. Then we started the drive towards Croatia. For this night we found a spot on a Farm which hosts Campers and also has various animals. A highlight for Nicole :)
