Driving Day
After moving at around 22:00 the previous evening because of the noise from the youth, we slept super well close to the monastery. But we decided to get up early (7am) so as not to disturb anyone there.
Only a couple minutes after we got up, we already left. The camper was still packed up from the evening before. 30 minutes later we did a stop at a parking space next to the round and ate breakfast and made plans for the day.
Nicole came up with the idea to drive all the way to the Black Sea, which was a nearly 500 km drive. But I was up for it as well, this brings us also quite close to Istanbul, where we have a flight back home in a week.
The drive itself was quite uneventful, we had a small stretch of Serbia left before we reached Bulgaria and crossed back into the EU. The border crossing itself was super fast, on the Serbia side the police wanted to have a quick look into the van through the side door. Maybe he was just curious how Sprinty looks inside? :)
Compared to the highway in Serbia, the on in Bulgaria was quite bad on several stretches.
Evening
First we tried an official camping close by, but it only opens at first of june. Then we headed for a wild camping spot which turned out to be really beautiful. We had beer and chips and then did some freelethics. For dinner we made again our beloved pizza in the omnia and watched the sunset.
