The day started with a small shock, after we reached Naryn we realized that the border permit which we wanted to pick up in Naryn was actually prepared in Bishkek. A mere 6 hours drive away… Thankfully the lady at the agency was super helpful and organised us a scan which we then printed, so we still got the permit. Besides that we did some light shopping and filled up gas, before we were on our way to Baetov.

The road ranged from “perfect tarmac” to horrible gravel, but overall we still made good progress and reached Baetov in the later afternoon. There we filled up water and completed the chore list of the day with that. A couple of kilometers outside we found a beautiful spot.
