Kyrgyzstan

Today was in the focus of the World Nomad Games, hosted this year in Krygyzstan. Unfortunatley the infos are a bit hard to come by, so i can’t tell you with 100% certanty how many sports are played. But the one we were most interested in, is Kok Boru, also called goat polo. It’s played 4 vs 4 on horses and the goal is to pick up a dead goat and put it into the goal of the enemey. It was really crazy too see, they fight super hard, use the horses to block off the rider with the goat and also jump in to put the goat into the goal.

Overall it was a fun day, but also a bit exhausting and i shoot over 800 photos, so just some unedited insights for the moment.
