Kazakhstan

Time for the city, but before we went for a run. It wasn’t too hot in the morning and there was a perfect pedestrian way we could use. After a quick breakfast in the apartment we were on our way. As we are a bit outside of the center, we took a Yandex Go which costs 4.- for about 25 minutes of driving. This feels insane, not sure if this is heavily subsidized or how it works. At least the gas here is quite cheap.

Our first stop was the green bazaar, which consists of various shops, from clothes, electronics and also food. Then we did a quick stop at a yarn shop, but Nicole wasn’t convinced by the available products. Then we did a food stop and had a small lunch.

A mall waited to be explored and it was impressive how many western brands were present. This was really a mall like in Europe or the States. After we took the cable car to the top of the small hill and enjoyed the sunset. Then we used Yandex Go again to go back home.
