Istanbul
A short morning run was my start into the day. We kept breakfast on the short side and were out of the hotel a bit before 9:00. This allowed us to be early at Hagia Sophia and dodge the crowds.
By accident we bought the entry & experience museum ticket, which cost 50€ per person. But the museum turned out to be the more interesting part. There was an interactive part with multiple rooms and videos that showed the history of Hagia Sophia. The mosque itself is currently under renovation, so we couldn’t see much inside.

Then the rain stared and we “fleed” into the blue mosque, which we found more impressive.

Thankfully the weather got a bit better and we explored the nearby Grand Bazaar as well. It’s really a labyrinth and you can get lost in all the small streets.

For dinner we had turkish, so for once quite fitting for Istanbul :)
