Nicole rejoined the party at 5:00 in the morning, that’s the reason why we slept directly at the airport. We then slept for another hour, because it was still dark outside. So at shortly after 6 we got up and started the drive a bit after 7. After a fuel stop we also did a shower stop a little bit later, always great to have a real shower. Then it was driving through the steppe, a quick lunch break to warm up some instant noodles. Until we made it to Atyrau, another fuel stop and then we filled up water at the plumber store. The same place where we filled up nearly 4 months ago. Driving all these roads back brings back a lot of memories and also lets us realize how much time has passed and how long we have already been on the road, which makes us super grateful.
