Today’s main plan was to hike to the Gergeti Trinity Church, which we already wanted to do back in June, but due to the fact that we joined Alex and Thesi for the Russia transit, we had to postpone it. We directly left from our camping spot, first had to reach Stepantsminda and from there it went up quite a bit. Was a nice hike, but also a lot of people. We are not used to it anymore.

On the way back down we did a stop at a restaurant and had some good late lunch, but also quite expensive. Another thing we (or at least I) are not used to anymore. Then we also picked up our laundry and took a taxi back to the spot. From there we drove down towards Tbilisi and stopped at the beginning of the Truso Valley. Last time we hiked in, tomorrow we want to drive in.
