After yesterday, today was a more relaxed day. Sandro didn’t sleep so great, so we didn’t want to drive endless hours. Anyway, first we had to reach Akhalkalaki where we filled up water again (at the same spot as last time) and also topped up gas. From there we started a new track which first led through some small villages and then onto the plateau above the Kura River canyon. Here we drove a stretch before we found a nice spot with a great view of the canyon. The rest of the day was spent relaxing at the camper and also a random walk over the plateau.
