Eastwards
After evaluating different options we decided to go towards Cappadocia, which will be our next main goal. For today it would have been a bit too much distance, so we checked Park4Night and found a great spot at the Lake Tuz. It’s the second largest lake in Turkey and contains around 10 times more salt than the ocean. Most of the time it’s very shallow and only around 0.4m deep.
But before we reached Lake Tuz, we had a bit over 6 hours of driving before us. The highways were good, we did multiple quick stops and a longer one to fill up water.
Quick stop along the way
The last stretch before we reached the place for the night was a dirt road which was quite bumpy and Sprinty had to prove himself.
View from our spot
But the spot is really amazing, direct view of Lake Tuz and nothing around for quite a bit. We did a quick walk on the beach and also dipped our feet into the salty water, which left us marinated :)
We also found some salt rocks, which looked just like regular rocks but could easily be split.
