Also no balloons this morning, but we already knew that, so not a direct disappointment in the morning. At least we could sleep a little bit longer :) But tomorrow they will fly, a guide told us “it’s confirmed”, so we are quite optimistic.

About today, we decided to hike the different valleys around Göreme. The first clear goal was Love Valley, which first brought us closer to the Rose Valley. From there we crossed the main road and started the hike into the Love Valley.

Love Valley was reached quite fast, we then saw that we can follow the valley further and reach the White Valley and from there Göreme. So we decided to do this.

On the way to Göreme we then also found Güvercinlik Valley, also stunning and a bit narrower.

Then the rain started, thankfully not too bad, but we were still happy that we brought rain jackets. But as we reached the camper, the sun showed up and we drank beer sitting outside. For dinner we had pizza and now it’s time to set an early alarm to not miss the balloons.
