Georgia

I started the day with a run, initially i planned to run the truso valley, where we hiked yesterday. But after a bit more than a kilometer i was stopped by a sheep herd, or to be more precise, by the fear of the herd dog. So i just run laps in the large flat valley where we slept.

Then it was chore day, first we had to refill water, then dump greywater and finally do some grocery shopping. In preparation for our Russia transit, we also exchanged some $ to Rubbles.

Now it was time to move to our new spot, where we initially planned to stay for two nights. But this will change a bit later in the day. But for now we are at the new place and enjoy the sun.

We also do a short hike, further up the hill, where we had a nice view of the valley.

It was Pizza for Dinner day, and then we got a message from another couple which we briefly met at Tamaristan in Tbilisi. They had to repair their car, with a new turbo that just arrived today. But they still made it already to Stepantsminda. They asked if we want to transit Russia together, and we said yes.

Jokes aside, it’s definitely comforting to not be completely on your own. So we will just stay one night at the spot and leave tomorrow morning for the border.
