It got quite late last evening, especially for Nicole who watched nearly the whole Swiss match. The days here are quite hot, often scratching 35 degrees. Thankfully it cools down a bit in the evening and night, but it still takes some time until the camper cools down too. But still, the sleep doesn’t lack so far.

We still manage to always leave at 10:00 and so it was today, even though we are currently 3 hours ahead of Swiss time, we are still stuck with 10:00 for being ready :) After we said goodbyes to the other Swiss campers, we were on our way. First stop Beyneu.

In Beyneu we checked multiple gas stations, but there was only K4 diesel available (we hoped for K5/Euro 5). But it is what it is.

Then we had another hour on the paved highway which is quite good, we get an average of 80 km/h on it. But then we started our first dirt track, 160 km into the heart of Mangystau. We hoped to do it in 5 hours, but this turned out to be too optimistic. Now 6 hours later we still have 59 km to go. But this is for tomorrow.
