We got up early to catch the sunrise, it was a bit cloudy so it wasn’t the perfect sunrise, but the place is so special. After the sunrise I checked the images, and found that the ones from yesterday evening were by far the best (or at least I like them the most).
What a place
After this amazing morning we started the drive down into the valley, which gave us a different perspective of this incredible landscape.
On the valley floor
The road was quite bad, the beginning even a bit scary, because we got some serious side tilt. But all went well in the end and we enjoyed being on our own, we saw close to no people the whole day. One fun meeting we had though, was with the 3 Swiss couples we met some days ago. We are still in contact with them, so we knew that the possibility existed that we would meet them, but it was still funny that the timing made it really happen.
As we found a place we liked, we just stopped next to the road and cooked a risotto (alright, it was an instant mix that we still had from italy, but it counts, right?).

Then it was more shaking and slowly driving. But it’s crazy how fast time goes when crawling through this landscape. Later in the day we came to our goal and night spot, the Tiramisu Canyon.

The rest of the day is spent chilling in the shadow, doing some sport, cooking and just enjoying life. We don’t see anybody else out here, it really feels like we are on a different planet.
