Today it was time to go back into civilization, after 5 days in Mangystau. But this encompassed another 30 km of dirt track and then close to 250 km on tarmac. Being back on a paved road was quite a blessing. The dirt track today was bad, really high clearance needed, and we managed to scratch our differential slightly, thankfully nothing serious happened.
Ground clearance
On one of the service areas there was the option to check below the car, so we used it to double check the differential casing, all good (would I say).

The tarmac stretch was good, but we had to refill 10 liters of diesel from our canister, otherwise we probably wouldn’t have made it. Then in Beyneu, we first did shopping at a fruit store and in a supermarket. Next we filled up fuel and drinking water at a dispenser. Then we did the first outside cleaning of Sprinty, was about time, especially after the last couple of days he got dirty like crazy.
Last we went to a parking lot by a restaurant, where you can stay for the night if you eat there. Here we met the three other Swiss couples again and had a fun night, including Kazakh disco.
