Goal for today was to reach Aktobe, we hoped for good (or at least better) diesel there, but this didn’t turn out to be true. Only K4 quality could be found. But we had to fill up, only 4.5 liters were left.

Next stop was a wool store for Nicole, which we couldn’t find or it was already closed. Then we went to Liqui Moly to get some more fuel additive to compensate for the bad (or not so great) diesel here. This was quite an experience, after we entered the store and already found the product, multiple people started to talk with us. We were also filmed and also had to give a short interview. As a thank you they checked our fluids and we got some drinks. It was a super funny and nice experience, everyone seemed to be genuinely happy that we are in their country.

Our spot for the night is directly at the lake here, which apparently is called “Aktobe Sea”. As it was over 30 degrees, we went for a quick swim, which provided a nice cool down. Then we sat with the other Swiss couples and just enjoyed the camper lifestyle.
