Short but still good night, we got up at 4:15 so damn early. But it was probably worth it. The customs was not too bad, waiting took up most of the time, the inspections were quick and friendly. On the Uzbek side, we were quite lucky, the locals had to unload every single bag from their car, but on our car, they just did a quick glance and that was it.

After ~ 3 hours we made it, Welcome to Uzbekistan!

On the way to the guesthouse we made a first stop at a laundry and washed everything, then we enjoyed the afternoon in the AC’d room in the guesthouse, quite a blessing with nearly 40 degrees outside.

Towards the evening we go for a walk, we don’t find any historical buildings, but some sowjet style monuments and buildings, always interesting.
