Today it was time to get back to our camper, but first thing in the morning was a run for me. Nicole passed, as she got home at 4 in the morning after watching the Switzerland World Cup game. Then I had breakfast and we waited at the hotel until around 12. After a quick lunch, it was time to head to the train station. For that we used Yandex again, the Uber alternative here. It’s crazy how cheap it is, for the 25 minute drive we paid 2 CHF…

The train ride was quick and smooth, then another yandex and we were back at Sprinty. Everything alright, no issues! Only the battery was lowish with 25%, so the solar couldn’t keep up with the power consumption of the fridge in the heat.

We decided to escape the city heat and go to a nearby mountain spot, where we will spend 2 nights. It’s really beautiful here, but a bit windy. But as I said to Nicole, there is always something.

One concern that we are watching closely is the diesel shortage that is starting to spread in central Asia. Related to the issues that Russia has right now, the export dropped (or stopped?!) and the countries are starting to run low on diesel. This could become a real issue for us, but we can’t do anything about it right now, so we just wait and see how this situation develops and will then adapt our route accordingly.
