We had a great start with a walk to Yamchun Fortress, there we met Juerg, who convinced us to also go to the Bibi Fatima Hot Springs a bit further up. We first hesitated a bit, but then decided to give it a shot. And it was a great experience, even though the water is really hot, it felt cleansing.

After the 3 km walk back, we packed up and around noon we left. The road today was awful, the washboard that started yesterday on the last couple kilometers, continued for the whole day. Everything rattled and it sounded as if the whole camper is breaking down. No fun, but this is also part of it.

But besides the bad road, the valley got even more spectacular. We did a quick stop at a Buddhist temple. After Langar the road started to wind up the hill and then followed along and we made quite some elevation. Now our sleeping spot sits at nearly 3,500 meters.
