Welcome to the Kungsleden 2021 thru hike section of the blog! We keep you guys posted of our adventure.

We are soon starting our travel to Hemavan to start our Kungsleden hike.

After Stockholm we make our way to Hemavan to finally start our hike!

The start of our 2021 Kungsleden thru hike. We head off in Hemavan to a north bound hike.

After a short first day, we face a really cold night. But then a beautiful day & hike starts!

After camping next to a nice lake, it's time for going back into the mountains!

On day 4 we hit the nice town of Ammarnäs, so it's Town Day with Beers and real food.

Real sleep is sometimes all that's needed. During the day we then met some old friends.

A cold night makes for a hard start. And then the mosquito crazyness really starts...

Another town, this time without a real stop. And a really big day!

If you don't pick a good tent spot (e.g. windy) you will pay the bill during the night...

Camping with friends and riding a real boat, highlights of day 9.

We are now fast approching the next real town, Kvikkjokk. After a long time outside, some warm food is calling for us.

Only a short hike is left to hit the next town, so we will be there early and get nearly a full day to chill.

Back on the trail, we are already nearer to the end than to the beginning.

We are now on the most beautiful section of the Kungsleden, which includes Skierffe and the views into Sarek.

We reach the last town before the end of our hike, so we can now really feel that the hike will soon be over.

The day starts with a boat and bus ride, so not too much time left for hiking.

After hiking together for 16 days, we part ways with Anton and Frederik...

Beautiful views and still nice weather make up day 17.

The last night approaches, it already creates some sadness to know that the hike will soon be over.

We reach Abisko and conclude our 2021 Kungsleden Nobo thru hike.
